MERLIS CAMILO - Concert Visuals
For this project, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Merlis Camilo in developing the concert visuals for her upcoming show in the Dominican Republic. I was responsible for the creative direction, design, and animation of each piece.
For the three main visuals, I wanted to explore the concept of “hearts” in different forms: one with arrows surrounding a dark space to create a fiery heart, another featuring a disco ball, and the last one as a silver pendant engraved with her name (logo).
The last two visuals had specific inspirations: one represented the logo of her newest EP, “Ego y Amor”, incorporating butterflies to symbolize “Love” while the dark background represented “Ego.” The other visual was designed to reflect the rock genre, using lightning and a dark background
to convey energy and intensity.
